included a movie getaway at 3:00 this afternoon. What a perfect way to hit Wednesday right between the eyes. And it was free. Say it again, f.r.e.e...So cool! One of the colleges in our ten-college consortium has a brand new theater located on the first floor of a beautifully refurbished building circa 1843. The movies are considered third-run, but they are nonetheless desirable and we plan on enjoying this hidden gem to the fullest. The Secret Life of Bees today, Doubt in two weeks and The Reader after that. Five minutes from home, free films and regal surroundings - fabulous. Spending three hours with my Mom AND forgetting my cell phone in the car...outstanding.
